Aia (auch Äa) ist in der mythischen Geographie der Griechen eine Insel und eine Stadt im äußersten Osten, wo der Sohn des Helios, Aietes, herrschte.

Hier befand sich das Waldstück, in dem das Goldene Vlies aufgehängt war. Im späteren Verlauf identifizierte man das Land des Aietes mit Kolchis.
