Hello Andy and friends,
We are back.
Yes we came home in one piece after escaping the gusty winds,storm and being very sea sick on the ferry back home.And we enjoyed the Tauerntreffen very much,it's totally different than every other treffen we have been before.Now we know what it means to ride with a snow chain and to camp on ice using screws!
The atmosphere was good and we had a good time talking to people and looking at sidecars.
We want to thanks you and your mates for this and also thanks for your invite to stay at your place.
Our house is open for you and your friends as well.

Thats quite good to read for an enthusiastic Scotland-Rider and -lover like me. Will try to get to the beloved country in august this year, part time to the fringe festival ´cause of my profession as an actor and another part just to go up to the north - maybe you are fortunately on that way!

Jetzt bin ich durch Andreas aus dem XS - Forum auf die AIA gestoßen, bereite mich seelisch, moralisch und praktisch aufs Sölkpaßtreffen vor, surfe ein bischen auf den AIA Seiten und was seh ich? Das Schottisch - Niederländische Pärchen, die wir auf unserer großen Reise Weihnachten 05 in Ushuaia an der Südspitze Feuerlands getroffen haben und bei denen wir im September 07 auf unserer Hochzeitsreise in Schottland vorbeigefahren sind, war auf dem Tauerntreffen! Wie geht das denn?...Die Welt ist klein...

I remember that you went at a Winter meet when you were in Germany in January (without visiting us...) but I wasn't aware that it was that one...How are your ties to the AIA? You never mentioned that to us!
I will go to the AIA Sölkpaß meeting in May with my XS650, and if everything goes to plan Silvia and Daniel will come too (with the Citroen) - will you come too? I that case it would be the cance to meet again. We'd love it!
Thank you again for your hospoitality when when you received us at your home - and some souvenirs....
